Applications and Personal Data

We save your signed-in account identifier, email, provider application and loading requests. Nearby search sends the entered address to the U.S. Census Bureau for geocoding but does not save the customer search address in our database. Loader base addresses are geocoded into private coordinates; the street address is not stored. Search results show approximate distance, not a loader’s coordinates or street address. Provider contact details are never shown in search results. When you select a crew and confirm sharing, your phone number, email and job details are sent to that crew only. Do not submit SSNs, banking information or criminal-history documents here.

Independent Service Providers

Providers set their own rates and decide which jobs to accept. Independent contractor classification depends on the actual relationship and applicable law; receiving a tax form alone does not establish contractor status.

Fees and Tax Reporting

The planned marketplace fee is 15% of completed service charges. Final payment processing allocation, cancellation and refund terms will be disclosed before checkout is enabled. Tax reporting will be configured according to the payment structure and applicable requirements.

Keeping Bookings on Dumpster Helpers

Customers pay through the site, and payment is held until the customer confirms the job is complete, then released to the crew. Crews see a customer’s phone number, email and street address only after payment. Contact details typed into job descriptions are hidden before payment.

Loaders agree not to take customers they meet through the marketplace off the platform to avoid the marketplace fee. Accounts that do may be suspended. Reviews and search ranking count only jobs paid through the site. (Final wording to be set in the provider agreement with legal review.)

Verification, Insurance and Screening

No provider is automatically approved by signing up. To be listed, the business owner must verify their identity through Stripe during payout setup, keep approved general liability insurance on file, and sign an owner statement that they and everyone they send to a customer’s property have no felony convictions. Owners are responsible for their crews meeting this standard; false statements result in removal. Listings are hidden automatically when approved insurance expires.

Background checks are optional. Crews that choose them earn the Trusted Provider badge once every listed member passes. Checks require each person’s disclosure and authorization through the screening provider, with its review and dispute procedures.

Materials

Customers and crews must agree on accepted materials and safe lifting limits. Hazardous waste, liquids, asbestos and other restricted materials require appropriate disposal providers and are not ordinary dumpster loading jobs.
